Description
In this 5-lesson series, children will put on their detective hats as they discover new things each day about who Jesus is. They will see that Jesus loves the lost (the parable of the lost sheep), Jesus takes away sin (the story of Bartimaeus), only Jesus satisfies (Jesus feeds the 5,000), Jesus has power over death (Jesus raises Lazarus) and they can put their faith in Jesus (the healing of the official’s son). By using a different detective “prop” each day, the teaching segments—Bible lesson, memory verse, prayer time—tie together and provide extra fun for the children. The props are easily obtained (glasses, flashlight, magnifying glass, badge and camera) The detective theme is carried through in the games and activities recommended for this series.
